Join a Group

On CaucusRoom, one of the first ways to get involved and have conversations with your friends and neighbors is to join a group! When you join a group, you not only will be able to view the group’s page, but posts from the group will also appear in your feed on the CaucusRoom homepage. It is a great way to get even more information through CaucusRoom!

To join a group:

  1. Click on the “Groups” tab on the CaucusRoom home page.
  2. Scroll through our list of groups until you find one you’re interested in joining, and click “Join.”
  3. Once you have joined, you can then click on “Visit” and enter the group’s page. If the group is public, you will automatically become a member and be able to view posts, events and more. If the group is “closed,” your membership will appear as “pending” until the group host approves you as a member.
  4. If you have been invited by a friend or family member to join a “secret” group, you will need to visit the group directly through the group link provided by your friend or family member. Click “Join” and your membership request will be sent to the group host.

Now that you’ve joined a few groups, how about starting one of your own?
